I’ve spent my career as a journalist telling stories from the inside, covering everything from presidential visits to major breaking news and defining moments in aviation. I’ve reported on the ground during high-profile events, interviewed decision-makers at the highest levels, and worked through fast-moving news where accuracy and clarity mattered most. One of the standout experiences in my career was covering the rollout era of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, seeing aviation innovation up close and translating complex developments into stories that everyday travelers could actually understand. Across every newsroom I’ve worked in, the goal has stayed the same: make complicated systems simple, and make them meaningful to the people watching.
Today, I bring that same journalistic instinct into Jetsetter Jake—helping everyday travelers see what’s happening behind the airport walls, airline operations, and the travel experience most people only see from the gate. After years of reporting and leading newsroom teams, I shifted that storytelling lens to aviation and travel content, where I break down how air travel really works in real time. Through video, social storytelling, and on-the-ground reporting, I connect viewers to the hidden side of flying—so you don’t just move through the system, you actually understand it.
